Join in the fun for Garden Re-Leaf Day and raise money for charity! There's got loads going on at garden centres across the UK to mark this annual fundraiser – Show your support for Greenfingers.
This will be the sixth year for Garden Re-Leaf, held each March in aid of the Greenfingers Charity, which builds gardens for children in hospices and their families. So far they’ve created 51 magical outdoor spaces for patients to enjoy, with a further 15 promised this year. Its ‘A Million Moments
Appeal’ aims to raise £1 million over the next three years so that it can bring the gift of a garden to another 5000 children and their families spending time at hospices across the UK.
Last year garden centres across the country raised a whopping £140,000, and this year we’re hoping to do even better! The 24 Hour Plantathon is back, and there’s also a general knowledge quiz, sponsored walks, raffles and cake sales. Plus of course some great deals on selected products – you buy and we donate a percentage of the sale to Greenfingers!
